Crosby Street Store Closed.

On April 13, INDUSTRIES Stationery permanently closed its flagship retail store, IS. After nearly 8 years in SoHo and 4 years in the original Chelsea location, a retail presence no longer remained viable. The online shop will continue with a limited range of products available exclusively on the web. New features are being added to the online store to allow customers to order Personalized Stationery and create custom notebooks online.

INDUSTRIES Stationery will continue to offer special orders and reprints of Couture/Personalized Stationery orders for individual and corporate clients. To contact us, please use the contact button on the website.

INDUSTRIES Stationery Artists Series: Bernard McWilliams

INDUSTRIES Stationery is proud to announce the solo exhibition of artist Bernard McWilliams. The opening reception will be on Thursday, April 15, from 6 to 9pm at 91 Crosby Street. The IS store will close for business on Tuesday, April 13, 2010. The space will transform into a  gallery space for the Artists Series, which will be open to the public daily from noon to 7pm at 91 Crosby Street through April 29.

McWilliams is an abstract photographer, who creates elaborate and beautiful images drawing from his experience as a cinematographer and filmmaker. He is the recipient of numerous film and photography awards including an Emmy award for his camera work. A graduate of NYU's graduate film school and long-time New Yorker, Bernard brings an incredible depth and refined aesthetic to his original images. For the Artists Series, we have culled  a collection of visionary images which will be available in limited editions on fine art paper, unframed, signed  and numbered.

A full-color, 96 page monograph, "Bernard McWilliams Sculpting with Light,"  is being published to coincide with the Artists Series exhibition. The book will be on sale along with unlimited edition prints and artist proofs during the exhibition at IS.
